Half-day educational program for school groups. Costumed docents lead students through Freedom School (1-room schoolhouse), Victory Garden, log cabin, Stimpson homestead, icehouse, chapel, general store, sawmill, pesthouse, and Anishinaabe area. Covers life in Northern Michigan 1880–1917. Chaperones visit free.
Cost
$5 per student; chaperones free. 50% of cost due with application.
